HIIT Timer

note

Each of the timer editors have common properties. You can read more about these at Common Properties.

The HIIT timer will repeat a high intensity interval a set number of times, separated by low intensity intervals.

The HIIT timer also comes with some optional conveniences allowing you to:

  • Prepend a warm-up interval at the start of the timer.
  • Append a cool-down interval at the end of the timer.

It's important to note that high intensity intervals are separated by low intensity intervals and as such the timer will always end with a high intensity interval (HIGH, LOW, HIGH).

If you need a timer that will repeat both high and low intensity intervals (HIGH, LOW, HIGH, LOW) you should use the circuit timer and add both as exercises.

Number of Sets

The number of high intensity intervals that will be performed during the timer.

High Intensity

The high intensity interval that will be repeated. This interval must have a valid duration to be included within the timer.

Low Intensity

The low intensity interval that will separate the high intensity intervals. This interval must have a valid duration to be included within the timer.

Start with Low Intensity

When enabling start with low intensity an additional low intensity interval will be prepended before the first high intensity interval.

Optional Intervals

Warmup

An interval that will be added to the start of the timer if it has a valid duration.

Cool Down

An interval that will be added to the end of the timer if it has a valid duration.
